Halle Berry Obtains Restraining Order Against Intruder (omg!)

Halle Berry has obtained a temporary restraining order against a man who had lurked around her home three times in as many days, according to Reuters.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Carol Boas Goodson on Tuesday ordered Richard A. Franco, 27, to stay 100 yards from Berry and her 3-year-old daughter, Nahla.

In her court papers obtained by TMZ, Berry said she first saw Franco in her gated backyard Saturday when she was talking to her manager, Vincent Cirrincione. Cirrincione yelled at Franco, who then left.

The next day, Berry said she went to her kitchen and saw Franco on the other side of a glass door. She said she ran upstairs and called the police, who arranged for armed security officers outside Berry's home 24 hours a day. On Monday, Franco was caught when he returned.

Franco was found with a book with "nonsensical ramblings" and Berry's name in his handwriting, the Oscar winner said. He also has a history of violence, theft and drug offenses, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Franco was booked on suspicion of stalking and his bail has been set at $150,000.
