Eight NATO/ISAF Troops Die in Afghanistan

NATO(KABUL, Afghanistan) -- Saturday marked a deadly day for service members of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) coalition, as eight service members died in separate incidents in southern and eastern Afghanistan.

ISAF officials released a statement Sunday saying that four service members died as a result of non-battle related injuries suffered in South Afghanistan.

There were also reports that four other service members were killed in four separate incidents Saturday, with three of those incidents occurring in the South and the other in the East.

The identities of those killed weren?t immediately released.
