I can't help it, I still get the itch once Major League Baseball Spring Training begins to wind down and the Umpire yells "Play Ball".? Hope spring eternal in many cities.? Darcy is a major Dodgers fan, so she is giddy with the announcement that Magic Johnson's group is buying the Dodgers.? I have become more of a fan of the Dodgers and I think that having Magic Johnson as the ownership face of the franchise is going to be a brilliant move!? I have become a fan of Magic over the years, for me, it was years in the making.? Magic was a great, great basketball player, one of the three best ever to play.? I am a Utah Jazz fan, so it was heartbreaking year after year, watching Magic's Showtime Lakers run past the Jazz.
I hope that the other teams with ownership issues get resolutions nearly as good as the Dodgers!? Right now, everyone is a World Series contender, so that is the reason for my baseball themed musings.? There are questions that I am dying to see the answers to, can the Cardinals repeat without Albert?? Do the Yankees have enough pitching, how about the Rangers, can they make it to their thirds straight World Series??? What moves will the Dodgers make?? That is the beauty of baseball, there is always a new year coming on, if it isn't this year, well then wait until next year!? Hope springs eternal, I do hope that the Cubs turn things around and get a contending team.?
