Osama bin Laden is dead, President Barack Obama announced tonight.
In a nine-minute, late-night address from the White House, Obama said the suspected architect of the 9/11 terror attacks had been killed earlier Sunday by U.S. forces in Pakistan.
"His demise should be welcomed by all who believe in peace and human dignity," Obama said.
